Ron Estes MFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Supervisor, Teacher and an Arts Collaborator. He has studied, practiced, and taught narrative therapy for years and contributed to many articles published in professional therapeutic journals. He has focused on applying non-pathologizing therapeutic skills two capacities. Firstly, in therapeutics practicing individual, relationship and family therapy in both private and clinical settings. Secondly, he has combined his therapeutic skills with his experience in the Arts to consult with persons engaged in creative disciplines to help them navigate the challenges specific to their work.
Ron currently trains and supervises Trainees and Interns at San Diego State University, The San Diego Center for Therapeutic Collaboration and The Center for Health and Wellbeing. Simultaneously, he works as a Arts and Creative Disciplines Consultant with persons locally, nationally and internationally by phone and video-conference.
